For our daughter Rosie’s 4th birthday, we decided to give her the ultimate gift: a complete room makeover as she transitioned from her cosy toddler cot to a “big girl” single bed. Embracing her love for florals and all things pink, we created a whimsical sanctuary filled with delicate floral patterns in shades of pink, complemented by cheerful touches of yellow and adorable bunny accents. This special project not only marked Rosie’s growing up but also brought a sense of joy and wonder to her everyday life. The centrepiece of Rosie’s new room is her beautiful pink single bed from Temple & Webster. The Anastasia Upholstered Single Bed brings an elegant touch to the space with its soft, pastel pink hue and charming tufted headboard. The bed is not only stylish but also designed with comfort in mind, providing Rosie with a cozy and inviting place to rest each night. Its sturdy construction and timeless design ensure it will grow with her, making it a perfect addition to her dreamy floral haven. Rosie’s new bed is adorned with delightful bedding from Kmart, adding a perfect blend of comfort and style to her room. The Sweet Floral Reversible Comforter Set showcases a charming floral pattern in soft pinks and yellows, perfectly complementing the room’s theme. Paired with the Maya Reversible Quilt Cover Set, which features a versatile design for a fresh look whenever we want to switch things up, her bed always feels inviting and cozy. To make Rosie’s room makeover extra special, we adorned her walls with the Mini Falling Flowers decals from Sailah Lane. These delicate floral decals create a magical atmosphere, giving the illusion of flowers gently drifting down her walls. The soft pink and yellow hues of the decals perfectly tie together the room’s colour scheme, enhancing the overall floral theme. Easy to apply and reposition, these decals add a whimsical touch without the permanence of paint. They bring a sense of movement and life to the room, making Rosie’s space feel like a blooming garden where her imagination can flourish.

This charming station, with its adorable design and built-in lighting, creates the perfect nook for Rosie to explore her creativity. We filled it with an array of new costumes, including princess gowns and fancy dresses, along with a selection of handbags and a jewellery box brimming with sparkling accessories. To make it even more special, we included some of her existing cherished pieces, creating a delightful mix of the new and familiar. Now, Rosie has a magical corner where she can dress up and let her imagination take flight, transforming into a princess or any character her heart desires.
Adding a touch of elegance to Rosie’s room is the delightful Le Toy Van Honeybake Vanity Table and Stool from The Hut. Rosie’s room is adorned with a charming rattan dollhouse that has been a beloved fixture for years. Furnished mostly with pieces from Kmart, along with some unique additions from other places, the dollhouse is a cosy retreat where Rosie’s imagination takes flight. It’s a place where her dolls and characters can live out their stories, surrounded by pieces that reflect Rosie’s vibrant personality and her love for imaginative play.
Rosie’s room features a cherished shelf that we brought with us from our old house, filled with her favorite books and treasures. This sturdy and timeless piece has found a perfect spot in her new space, serving as a bridge between her past and present. The shelf is adorned with a beautiful piece of art from Let’s Face It Design, depicting our entire family, including our beloved puppy, capturing a moment of togetherness that warms the heart.
